CUNA defends warning about possible cyberattack Credit Union National Association is taking heat for its decision to warn its members publicly about a possible cyberattack on their websites by hacker group Anonymous, but the group says it did the right thing. According to Credit Union Times, CUNA is cautioning credit unions that Anonymous might target their sites for denial of service attacks May 7. Such hacking attacks are relatively simple affairs, usually consisting of flooding a server with multiple page view requests so most Internet users can't access a site.
